It is rare that a diver does not feel the desire to go deeper. Deep dives open the doors of new and exciting dive sites such as: wrecks, reefs and deeper walls. Divers generally tend to be adventurous and deep diving – to visit a wreck or take photographers – and can definitely be considered adventurous. So it is natural that, like most divers, you are interested in this kind of dive.
What you learn
- Underwater students will develop the techniques required for deep diving within the limits of recreational diving (depths between 18 and 40 meters) avoiding disturbing delicate marine life.
- Considerations for underwater diving equipment.
- Experience planning, organizing and running at least four deep dives under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor
To qualify for certification, completing the course, the underwater student must meet all the demanding requirements for deep diving in one, two, three and four free waters.
Once you have satisfied all the requirements you will receive your PADI Deep Diver certification.
Minimum age: 15 years
Knowledge development: 1 theory lesson
Water lessons: 4 dives in free water
Prerequisites: PADI Adventure Diver or qualification issued by another Educational Organization.
