The PADI Scuba Diver course is part of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Actually, the course consists of 3 lessons of theory, 3 lessons in confined waters and 2 free water dives.
PADI Scuba Diver divers are trained to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Instructor up to a maximum depth of 12 meters. PADI Scuba Diver divers have more underwater knowledge both theoretical and practical, than a participant in the Discover Scuba Diving course, however, are not qualified to dive in autonomy.
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Knowledge Development: 3 Theory sessions
- Underwater Training: 3 water dives confined, 2 free water dives
At the completion of the course you will receive the PADI Scuba Diver certification, a worldwide recognition that allows you to dive at a maximum depth of 12 meters under the direct supervision of a PADI member. You can get the PADI Open Water Diver Patent at any time by attending two additional theory sessions and completing diving in free and open waters.
How long does the course last?
This course is a good compromise if you have little time, actually you can get the certification in just two days in the full-time formula. During the summer we plan this course on a weekend.
The course fee includes all the equipment normally needed to complete the PADI Open Water Diver course.
